Day 2 - Blogging Series - Silakki Dumma

Don't ask me ,what is the meaning of Silakki Dumma - All I know at this point of time is that Sillaki Dumma is a local Tamil word which is used in various occasions.Meanwhile,The reason why I kept this as title was , I wanted to know what are the other commonly used slangs and phrases which we use in our day to day life.Post it in the comment section below.

Today , I would like to discuss on the topic of Sales process.

After taking few courses using LinkedIn learning platform and Udemy and from the people I have met in my life I understood a little about Sales process.The process of selling differs from Offline to the online version of selling stuff.

Although I did know about the KISS technique(Keep It Simple Stupid) and also WIIFM(What's in it for them) strategy, if you observe simply on a day to day basis from the people you meet you will understand a lot about sales process.

Like a samosa seller in a local train.He is consistent, has a voice modulation, tells the price and makes sure the aura gets into the nostrils of the passengers. And he constantly moves and once he complete the sales in one train ,he swiftly shifts to the other and repeats the same steps.

If you see a road side vendor who is selling toys focusing on kids and parents who come along that side with kids.They constantly demonstrate what exactly the toy can do and once they find the kids approaching them alongside with their parents ,they simply place the toy in the kids hand and that kid already feels they have purchased the product and the parents pay for it for the sake of kids happiness.

These sellers they didn't know about Segmentation,Targeting or Positioning but they do all of it.
They ensure and understand who their potential buyers are.They rely on certain timings and also they position themselves in such a way that they will definitely make a sale.

so,when was the last time I made a sale.Yes I am a student but definitely in my life I have done certain things ,I'll leave that to you to decide on whether it was Sales or not.


So.me sitting in an interview process and selling myself for the role I am applying for is Sales.
Me convincing someone to make a purchase so that it will benefit them in the long run is helping to make a sale.
In future ,if I create an online course on Social media marketing and one of your friend purchases it and provides a positive review and suggests that you also take the course is also a selling process.


Whether we know it or not we have sold something or the other in our life time. Now the question arises.

To Whom do we sell ?
What do we sell ?

So recently a friend and mentor Dimitris Bronowski shared this Business Blogging Masterclass course.It is an online course.Now for this course,let us understand and answer the following questions.

Since the course is online, all it needs is the person interest .If the person decides to scale up in his/her life ,definitely they will sign up for this course and learn a skill and will upgrade themselves ,meanwhile the rest of people will complain for the rest of their lives.So this course is being sold 24*7*365.

The author of this course Nisandeh Neta and Dimitris Bronowski are genuinely interested in helping fellow entrepreneurs to grow and scale up in their lives,so that they will create a positive impact on a large number of people.

3.How do we sell ?
This course is sold offline as a session itself and online through learning platforms like Udemy.By having a team of affiliate marketers the course is being sold and also they themselves do the pitch and make the sales process.


4.To Whom do we sell ?
Since it is a  Business Blogging Masterclass course, the focus is initially to the Blogging Circle but also this course can be diversified to students who want to become bloggers and make  a living out of it.The cool thing is since it is online anyone who is interested in Blogging can make use of this course.

5.What do we sell ?

expert masterclass:Boost your Coaching business is one course which is focused and targeted towards coaches , meanwhile Business Blogging Masterclass course can be used by anyone who intends to make a living by blogging.
Along with this offline events and seminars which are generating a huge sum of money.

So,with that being said.Establishing yourself as an expert in a particular field helps you to do the sales process a bit faster and also it make the sales process look so easy.Just like how I am an expert in certain areas, the authors are also experts in specific areas and have worked along with Sir Richard Branson, Brian Tracy, Jay Abraham, Rich Schefren, Dustin Mathews . And in the meantime created a Multi-million dollar business .

I am excited when i see courses like this which provide value.It also helps to me understand how to fragment my course into smaller blocks in future , Because the content creator has a work experience of working along with experts ,one can definitely model them and learn from them.
