Hey, and Hi Guys, Welcome once again to my Blog. I hope you are all sound and safe and I am here to share a few more updates for the day. Feel free to comment, share and reach out to me in case of any suggestions.

Yesterday, we were discussing on 5G smartphone; today we will take a look into one another smartphone that supports 5G.

The device is Motorola Edge Plus with Snapdragon 865 comes at a price tag of 74999 INR and is available for sale in Flipkart. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage and is available in Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey colour variants. The size of the device is 6.47 inches and comes with an HDR10+ AMOLED Display with a 90 Hz refresh rate.
For camera lovers, it is going to be a treat, as this device sports a 108 MP  primary sensor,8MP telephoto lens(seriously if you have no idea what it’s about)  Check out MKBHD’s YouTube Channel and 16MP wide-angle lens. For Selfie lovers, you will get a 25MP Front camera. The cool thing is, It comes with a wireless charging feature 15W support and 5W wireless power-sharing feature (you can power other devices) and has a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. And Yes it supports 5G.

Now moving Into the Gadgets Arena, Start-up PNT Solutions(Dombivali) founder Pratik Tirodkar has come up with an internet controlled bot named “aCorobot” and is currently deployed at Holy Cross Hospital in Kalyan. The Bot ranges from 1.80-3.60 Lakhs INR depending on the load-carrying capacity and can provide food, medicine, water and disinfectants to the patients in need. It can disinfect itself, the floor and the patients using the nozzle present in the bot.

It’s First of a kind bot to use IoT and can be controlled from any part of the world using an application. In his free time, the aCorobot founder teaches and interacts with the IIT students.

After Disrupting the Smartphones and TV segment in the Indian market, Xiaomi enters with its Mi Notebook laptops and have introduced Mi notebook and Mi Notebook Horizon edition.
The Mi notebook 14 comes at an inaugural price of 554$(41,999 INR) while the Horizon edition which comes in two variants one with i5, the other with i7 are priced at 54,999 INR and 59,999 INR respectively and these are inaugural prices and will last till July 16. Nokia to launch 5310 features Smartphone this June 16. It comes with a 2.4-inch display screen and has Nokia Series 30+ OS with a battery capacity of 1200 mAh, storage of 16MB and RAM of 8MB with a VGA Megapixel rear camera. Due to COVID-19 situation, they will ship the smartphones to selected Pin codes starting from 4th May.

In the Software space, Google’s Meet has enabled AI Noise cancellation feature to take on Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Google has also announced the Android 11 updates to the Pixel devices.

The India Cellular and Electronics association has set a target of 100 Billion Dollar worth of exports by 2025 under its Restart, Restore and Resurgence Project.

In the EV segment, Tata Autocomp partners with Tellus to set-up EV charging points in India. They will provide AC chargers ranging from 3KW - 11KW for home and residential complexes, meanwhile 20KW – 300 KW DC Chargers in public outlets. 

In the field of sports: In his recent address, Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said he would love to see Kabaddi included in Olympics and also told the community that Sports education would be a part of the new education policy and not just an extra-curricular activity.

Numbers Fact for the Day: The Cyber-cell has identified 13,500 smartphones running using the same IMEI code.

On This Day, 12th Jun 1990: Indian National Satellite (INSAT-1D) launched. This is an operational multi-purpose communication and meteorology satellite. It is still in service. It was launched by US Delta launch vehicle, Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, USA.
