Hello friends , I hope you are all having a good time :)
This is ma experience which I would like to share "Ilanthapalam "
I got up late as usual ; for the past few days it has been the routine for me !!
The reason was mainly due to a viral fever which I had a few days ago and partly coz since it was holidays I wasn't sleeping on time either !!!
So , as I got up around 10 a.m I felt a bit weak , and I thought it was due to the fever I had and I started to refresh maself !!!
As time passed I ate the lunch probably many of you would call it as brunch,
And still I felt unsatisfied! !
Since i was feeling weak , ma dad bought some oranges papaya and badam etc and I ate all of them still unsatisfied I was mumbling. ..
So, I felt I wanted to drink coconut water because that what made me feel better when I was admitted at Appolo when I had fever.
So , left my house and came to the place opposite to a school in karayanchavadi.
As I was asking for a coconut to the selling lady who was around 40 I guess !!
A kid (2nd or 3rd based on his looks) from the nearby school approached us !!
As I was starting to take ma sip the conversation between the kiddo and selling lady were as follows :
Narration in tamil
Kiddo : Akka 5 rupaa ku ilanthapalam thaangha! ! Miss vaanghitu vara sonnangha!
Selling lady : enna da annaiku class tymla enghaiyo veliya pona pasangha kooda! ! Ungha appa sollitu poi irukaaru! ! Paarthukoonu! !
(Looks like the kiddo was a regular customer and the kiddo father has said to the lady to look after whether he goes elsewhere )
Kiddo : athu laan illa ka! ! Was trying to avoid the Convo and was saying " seekirama thaangha tym aaghuthu "
Meanwhile I was completing ma drink ...
And the selling lady was picking the finest of ilanthapalam - referring the fruit here..amongst all..
After she picked up and said" Intha da"
Kiddo : inthangha ka 5 rupaa and was putting the ilanthapalam In his pockets as he could not hold them all In this hands
I gave the amount to the lady after I ate the coconut and meanwhile the lady to the kiddo olungha eduthutu poda..
Kiddo : laughingly says "ithu missuku illa , enaku thaa"
Knows better about the selling lady I guess
Selling lady to me : paarupa engha avanukunu solli kaetta na seriya paarthu thara maatanu , missukunu solli vaanghitu poran !!!
Meanwhile , the kiddo putting 2 ilanthapalam in his mouth , was moving happily from that place ,
And the lady was laughing too , saying that she knew from beginning it was for him !!!
And I was feeling happy witnessing what just happened !!
The kid going a little bit further , was shouting " ei ilanthapalam " , "ei ilanthapalam " and sharing it amongst his friends who were there ...
I felt more joy and left the place happily and the lady was looking at the happenings laughed and was giving coconut to the next customers..
Meanwhile all the friends of the kiddo were shouting "ilanthapalam " I could hear from a distance far from them...
Childhood days are awesome | The joy of sharing | the smartness | The drama |
These are all part and parcel of life...
Cool experience it was and wanted to share. ..
Since its ma first blog, pardon me if there are errors if any and next time would upload pics of the personalities involved !!!
A fabulous start for the month of joy I would say :) #HappyDecember
